Who Am I Poem by connie crane

Who Am I

Rating: 5.0

I am the hole in the middle of the doughnut
I am nothingness
Free, without limitation or definition
Unfathomable
Creation not created
Always in existence
Profoundly aware
Fully present
Always breathing in and out
Feeling love within
Love without
Shout, shout, till nothing comes out
I am the breath without the sound
Uncontained,
No lines are drawn around me
Falling ever deeper into the void
Peace my only companion on this ride
I feel no fear
I have no thought
Except the thought that is necessary to describe this thoughtless state
Now I am floating going nowhere
There is only me, no “you” are out there
All I am is becoming aware
That all of you are within me
Within this void I seem to be
I am loved and loving you
I am lovable and you are too
In eternity is this moment
In this moment is eternity
And I am here
Ever present
Ever nothing
And always will be
Light
