Who Am I? Poem by Emma Woods

Who Am I?

Rating: 4.8

As the moon shines and hangs in the sky
And the birds are all asleep way up high
But the trees are still and nothing is heard
And from all the houses there is not a word
A great shadow - known to be night
Has covered the land for everyone's sight
The air is warm and the wind is still
But a dark empty playground gives out a chill
If only that night was in true deep silence
And not even the breathing of a soul could be heard
Buut the breathing of a soul could be heard
Although he was quiet he was definately there
Sitting alone on a hard wooden bench
And to fight his anger - his fist would clench
His heart is not what people see
And I would know as that boy is me
