White Collar Crime Tax Payer Rewarded Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

White Collar Crime Tax Payer Rewarded

it is hard to believe
we live in the long awaited
twenty-first century

when great gods science technology
were expected to solve social problems
yet America Europe suffer austerity

yet land masses are drowning
ice caps melting under global warming
as world sea levels are rising

it is hard to believe
as good deeds are persecuted
evil still adversity prospers

greed still wears rich trappings of elite legitimacy
ancient recipe robber barons morph into corporations
manipulate interest rates markets civilian savings

yet when their crimes of extortion are exposed
executives bankers reward themselves with shares
massive bonuses paid for with tax payer bail outs

beware bought sold politicians sell out governments
enjoying profits of their purchased corruption souls sold
Jesus prophecy poverty accuracy poor are still with us?
