White Candle Room Poem by Justin Gildow

White Candle Room

Happening upon a white candle room
I make sure not to strike any of them
As they'll take me to a place I don't
want to go
And a fate I wish not to see

Walking by them
One by one
They've been enchanted by the dark magic
of Dracula
No doubt

The white candles are elegant and pretty
While they've been cursed by evil
As well as the undead

Passing them by
One by one
I can see the light leading into the next room
Leading me away from the white candle room
The white candles and their certain doom
