Whispering Meadows Poem by Alisha Ricks

Whispering Meadows

Look at the blue Lagoon
Sitting there so brightly
Green frogs leap there
Green frogs leaping everywhere
Slurp, slurp there goes the flies

She glides through the meadow
With her big brown eyes
Looking afar

She hears the meadow whisper
Whisper a soft melody
That plays a fine tune

Birds are singing along
As they soar
The trees begin to blow
Blowing her long black hair

As she continues to glide through the meadow
She hears the meadow whisper
Whisper a soft melody
That plays a fine tune

She stops and stares at the large palm tree
She touches the tree and poof
She enters a realm
A realm
Yes a realm

It was so beautiful
Beautiful glistening chimes playing
She listens to hear a fine tune
A tune so soft
It whispers you are loved
You are not alone

She realizes she is loved
And not alone
As she stand and smile with her beautiful white teeth
