Whispering

When the evening came
it whispered to me:
If I bring him into my heart
Or closer still
If I live in his soul
Or He lives in mine
Or Love lives in us
And we drown in it…..
Whenever he came
I whispered To him
Oh night..waiting
There is no sky for me
He Does not have the wilderness
All I know is that,
Life returned to us!

"Arcturus" is his other name—
I'd rather call him "Star."
It's very mean of Science
To go and interfere!

I slew a worm the other day—
