Whiskey And Popcorn Poem by Ashley Best

Whiskey And Popcorn

Together make an oxymoron
Apart life is unrelatable.

But when I create this harmonious potion
I feel my self close to overdosing.

Or NAH.

Sitting happily and satisfied alone.
I remember your face(s)

One syllable words are my
FAVORITES.

My heart is easy
But my love ain't cheap.

I come with hidden fees
And will nickel and dime you

And make you miserable
All along the way
