While You'Re Gone Poem by vithika jaiswal

While You'Re Gone

There's no feeling left
there's no pain in fall
its been three hours since
im staring at the front wall
i'd rather feel hurt
than feel nothing at all
my mind has turned numb
my heart an empty hall
i'm starving to hear your vioce
baby, just once! please call.

The chlidren miss you too darling.
small one still breaks down
did you see his winning goal at the football match
he is making me proud.
the big one doesn't let it show
but deep down he is burning i know
he missed his three proms in a row
the word love makes him feel disgusting you know?
i wish he had his father
to bring him back when he felt low.

The house is pretty much the same
but its haunted without you
the corridors screams of silence
our bedroom numbs me too
no matter how hard i try
ur loset still makes me cry
ur sweatshirt still feels soft too
and ur robe still smells of you.

When ur thoughts fill my head
my heart feels this emptiness and i dont know what to do
i am helpless since you died 5 years back
and i'm still not over you...
all these years of epic love
in the end who lost and who won?
i'm dying day by day
while you're gone...
