Where You Anchor Your Heart Poem by A Waltz For Zizi

Where You Anchor Your Heart

You are my swan, elegant as the moon and stars
coming and going as you please,
without regrets of hurting me,
and I'm content with that
since I'm the lake where you were born
from a late night kiss, under the blessing of slow moving clouds,
the place where sometimes you in your journeys
anchor your heart.
Forever here, for you, my heroine
reflecting your blonde beauty,
through carefully polished poems,
though not doing a good job
I haven't forsaken you, though you've been left for a long time
for I know that that heart, when the world will hurt
will need a safe place to rest.
