Where The Two Oceans Meet Poem by spiritual seeker

Where The Two Oceans Meet

In silence, I stood at the tip of rainbow land.
where the two oceans meet,
of the warm and cold body of water.
And lo! In this treacherous water,
Many ships of the old days had found their resting place,
Lashed and broken by the angry storm,
forgotten in the passage of time.

As I stood in deep reflection, on this distant shore,
My heart longed for my childhood friends,
Wonder where you are now?
This time had passed like a flash of lightning.
Remember? Our peaceful village, our playground,
and our childish laughter!
In the days, we played our unending games,
dashing happily in the rain,
climbing trees and splashing into the lazy, cool river,
and the nights counting the many twinkling stars in the dark sky,
never a worry in our mind.

Friends,
these moments of life are like the meeting of clouds,
As it later gathers in the distant land,
And rain falls from the sky,
Forming little brooks and great rivers,
And to the open seas will all flow and meet,
Just like the two oceans in front of me,
Which side will I and you be?
