Where Once I Did Dwell Poem by Cody O'Hara

Where Once I Did Dwell

Where once I did dwell
I return now

The old memories washed away
Replaced with another's

Years of life hidden
Under the veil of time and space

The sun setting behind me
I close my eyes

Looking instead with my heart
The veil is lifted

The memories rush back
And with them bitter nostalgia

For never again may I return
To this land I once knew
