Where Is My Little Girl?
Where did my little girl go?
in her pink dress
and danseuse shoes
inside her bag
she only put
coloring pencils
and favorite book
Green eggs and Ham
by Dr. Seuss
Why did she have to grow?
I want her back
to comb her hair
and give her a bath
to read bed stories
and pray to God
to kiss and love
and hold her tight
to tuck her in bed
and say goodnight
to nurtured her
just one more time
