when its world is in despair.
Where does it run to
and in whom does it console.

Where does the broken-hearted go
when winter chills the soul.
Will it mend and find
another to love again.

Where does the broken-hearted go
when day turns into night
and the candle flickers and dies
extinguishing all the light.

Where do the broken-hearted go
please tell me someone?
My heart has been broken
and I need to know where to go.
