Where Do We Go From Here? !
Today a leader is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today a writer is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
To a painter is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today a king is known,
Tomorrow he will be dead and gone;
Today a queen is known,
Tomorrow she will be dead and gone;
Today a prince is known,
Tomorrow he will be dead and gone;
Today a princess is known,
Tomorrow she will be dead and gone;
Today a rich person is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today a poor person is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today a teacher is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today an orator is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today a student is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today a singer is known,
Tomorrow he or she will be dead and gone;
Today you and i are known,
Tomorrow we will be dead and gone;
With the journeys of our lives on earth,
But, where do we go from here? !
