Where Are You Poem by Iris Mista

Where Are You

Rating: 5.0

So where are you, in this beauty land to be
hidden deep down in a restless salty sea
in the darkest of all murky places
to cover up all different decrepit faces

So where are you! Dead, but still seeing
emptying its last signs of hope and being
Gray, dark, alone, in the waves of fear
Out of sight, forgotten, never near

Where can I find the supposed twinkling zest
in the never sprouted sunshine, so, lest,
broken nothingness in dark diamond struggles
never paid for the invisible luster of the nubbles

It is the search of the lost kind
There is no you, and no one to find
in the billion drops of darkest brine
deep down, where no sun will ever shine.
