WOW I didn't expect this poem. It's like an ambush, there's no time to hide from the relentless theme - You do not exist. I am reminded of a story Joseph Campbell told. He had been studying Hindu scriptures in the original language for over four years when he went to India the first time. He thought he could easily talk with the gurus as one of them, but the first one he met showed him he was a rank novice. Where are you, Joseph Campbell, the wise man asked, between thoughts? Professor Campbell was speechless, as am I!

    Thought-provoker.
Whether or not I truly exist, I perceive parameters within which I can operate.
The gift of self-awareness allows me to choose; prods me to act; therefore, I very closely approach am-hood.
    An invigorating offering, Anthony!
