Where Are You? Poem by Indranil Bhaduri

Where Are You?

Rating: 4.9

I stood on the rooftop
With the gleaming silver moonlight
Swimming over my skin.
Soothing cool winds blew
With an aroma of fresh roses
From nowhere,
With the murmurs of trees
All around,
Brightening my subtle senses.
Thousands of stars twinkling above,
Spoke to my soul
Expressing their delicate wish
To come down and dance,
With a scintillating euphoria,
As words of intense love
And thoughts of sheer ecstasy
Enveloped the blissful spirit!
I gazed all around
With an elated face,
With no sign of grimace
Blowing a flying kiss in the darkness
Closing my eyes, feeling heavenly..
With passion and romance
Reigning in the air!
But, where are you?

A sense of loss at the night, the romantic aroma, made it a stupendous poem.
