Where An Orphan Sleep's

Rating: 4.9

The starving and the homeless begging in the street.
Have the only notion of what frost feels like on bare feet.
Places where an orphan sleep alone and out of sight.
Heated only by a candle not much for them to bare.
Staring out through dimmed eyes pretending not to care.
If these word's and letters act as beacon or guiding light.
Have sympathy for the underprivlaged always not just christmas night.

The greatest act of charity is charity towards the uncharitable. I am seriously touched by this poem. Thanks for bringing to light the adverse conditions face by the homeless on daily bases. A lovely poem indeed. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
