Whence You Left (Ed.2)

Rating: 5.0

as the sun shine
to shine
on me by day
and set
by the sunset
to set
my foot, get set
to accept whence you left
the pain in my heart
and the thought
on my mind
the joy in my strength
but the weak in my knees
as moon light stole my innocence
to get
a clear thought
of mine
as the winds blow through my mind
taking away
all the memories on my mind
from my heart,
the energy of emotions to find
a way to my own
and live a life alone
as you never did come back home
whence you left...

a marriage of emotions stubbornly
molested and seduced me
threw me in agony
of thought but a stalemate
as now, whence you left
you never did come back
since you gone
i am all alone
not lonely, but alone
and just alone
with myself

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
whence you left is an emotional poem that seeks to address the pain we feel and go through in situations that we face in life especially disappointments, hatred/ hate, death etc. the essence of the poem is to capture the true sense of emotions, in love and whereever-else. the rigorousness of all is to 'accept' and 'appreciate' whatever condition of a situation we encounter(ed) each day that goes by. each one of us has intrinsic qualities that need a motivation of actuality and reality, within the self and from (and by) the self. stay blessed.
