When You Were Cold Poem by Bull Hawking

When You Were Cold

When you were cold

A shivering foundling

I came to be your kind-ling

A lemon fish

With warm hands

A dictionary of all good words

Delectable foods to warm your tum

Not crab....more like lobster bisque

Hugs that make your soul becalmed

Enchantments to amaze

Little simple things

One might find along a gravel road in summer

A secret swimming hole for two

I give them and more to you
