When You're Ready - Poem by Michael P. McParland
When you're ready and feel that the time has come
I'll be waiting here with a wide open heart and open arms,
I'll be here to dry your tears and kiss away
all the years of the lonely painful hell.
For both of us a very lonely closed off time.
When you're ready just let me know because I'm
working so very hard to be ready for you and me.
Still much work to be done but I'm working
so I'll be better and improved where before
I lost my grip and ruined everything.
I'm working dear and when you're ready I'll be too.
Please take your time and do not feel rushed,
you need to do things as you feel is right,
I will not force or pressure you because that's not love
and I would not treat my one as such.
Please make sure that in your heart mind and soul
that you are fully ready and know it's time.
I'll be here waiting and watching over you
because you are my best friend and true love.
I'll wait forever for my sweet Angel dove.
I'm right here and never leaving so if you need
anything please remember I'm right here waiting,
take your time to do the things you need,
I love you deeply and I want you to always
be comfortable and know that you're decions
are what you feel is right and best.
