The news is full of war and threats
and West against East,
East against West,
And nuclear tension is clear
and nuclear war appears near
When worlds collide.

The governments talk of sanctions
the populace just want actions
And people starve in the third
and people gorge in the rich
When worlds collide

When worlds collide
nobody dies,
but everybody cries
in fear,
When worlds collide
politicians lie
and presidents talk of trying
to end poverty and struggle for the poor
Oh what a beautiful war
When worlds collide
Watch for the mushroom in the skies!
