When Words Just Fail Poem by Royston Allen

When Words Just Fail

No one has ever loved me like You do
or gave their life that I might have life too.
For You bore my sins and You paid the price
and wiped out my debts with Your sacrifice.

Sometimes words are not enough and they fail
to express the deep feelings that prevail.
My soul in the quietness and solitude
welled up in deep love and gratitude.

A thousand thanksgivings could never express
the depth of my love and my thankfulness.
So I knelt before Your cross and I sighed
I could not find the words so I just cried.
