When Will History Repeat For Me? Poem by Jon Dunn

When Will History Repeat For Me?

Rating: 5.0

History always repeats its self. In 1861 Blacks faced discrimination, in 1940 Jews where faced discrimination, it is now the year 2016 and the gay community is facing history again. Why have we stepped back but our civil roots? There was a war for the blacks, a war for the Jews, but we are left to burn. We are told we can't raise children, what makes you think that its okay for Society allow for a single parent of a mom or a dad to raise children but not two of the same? I face a fear not known for almost a hundred years, so where's my army that will save me? Where is history to repeat its self?

I face a fear not known for almost a hundred years, so where's my army that will save me? Where is history to repeat its self? Yes history repeats itself.... so very true...... May God keep you safe always my dear poet from all harm. tony
