When There's No Sunshine, Poem by Liza Sud

When There's No Sunshine,

Do you know that when you run on earth -
you are also running in heaven?
they don't teach kids this paradox:
you are here but you are there.

Poor people - they live and cry,
call the problem: 'The world to come' -
But it's programmed without Time.
And is blissful - just switch your mind.

Gem is shining when there's no sunshine,
it is dazzling when there is rain,
it is metal as the world's capital -
let make the whole world great again!

It's unfathomable but felt,
it is true as the all-time connection
between God who shows to create,
between me like his small reflection!

This is the poem of redemption! This is the nature of Nature, it is not the Spirit World, it's not meant to be but medieval mystics tell us the world of nature ADUMBRATES the world of eternity, that is, it is a shadow form of it. It is not bad in itself, only the alien presence of sin and evil distort it, and good people reclaim it. In American life religious people have always seen nature as a proof of God's presence. I grew up with that sense of a divine presence all around us. Isn't that better than seeing it as just future dust?
