When The Rooster Crows Again And Again Poem by RIC BASTASA

When The Rooster Crows Again And Again

When i hear the cocking-
crowing sounds
of the rooster
nine or more times
earlier this morning

of course, i remember St. Peter
and i remember Christ and
i remember myself
and i remember you.

i am not saying that we belong to the
category of liars
neither
shall i say that we are
ever faithful to the second name
that i we must not forget

as above-mentioned.
