When The Light Returns - Poem by Robert Murray Smith

There will be no light today in
this hell

Just the darkness of the armies of
soulless souls

Coming, and going about their bloody

Of killing non believers, scripted

The one who controls the forces of

When the light returns all will return

A hellish disembowelment of what has been

Restoration, and reparations of total ruins
bring back life

    It is hell on earth
    and history repeats itself
    over and over
    until death do us part
    ......and beyond!
there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

an ugly beauty to this poem

Destruction, reconstruction, the eternal hellish history of man
    Well said, poet!
