When The Eternal Silence Does Eat Up The Sound Poem by Gert Strydom

When The Eternal Silence Does Eat Up The Sound

When the eternal silence does eat up the sound,
when darkness do sneak in between the two of us
I will still love you on the other side
even if you do lay totally fatally in my embrace
here in my arms,
after awakening from a place
where the night, the sleep
is totally overwhelming.
