When Talking Of Karma Poem by Francis Duggan

When Talking Of Karma

Of Karma 'tis said we do reap what we sow
And the good and the kind the best of it for themselves do grow
One can only hope that such things are so
Though of Karma in real terms little I can claim to know
When talking of Karma in their own sort of way
What goes around comes around some known to say
For wrongs we do to others the price we must pay
Our sins will come back to haunt us on some future day
'Tis said the Universal karma to everyone does apply
Some fear it far more than the God of the sky
Some say our wrongs against others we will live to rue
I cannot say for sure that this is quite true
But for our crimes against others the price we must pay
If not to the law then to Karma one day.
