When Silence Speaks Poem by Bolami lawal

When Silence Speaks

Rating: 5.0

When silence speaks,
it tells a tale;
of greives,
of pains,
of promises unkept,
of dreams unfulfilled;
louder than words
it speaks,
deeper than voice
it sounds.

When silence speaks,
it tells a tale;
of betrayal,
of fear;
of a heart heavy with burden,
of a spirit broken and bruised;
louder than words
it speaks,
deeper than voice
it sounds.

When silence speaks,
it tells a tale;
of vengeance,
of hate;
furious and harmed as wind,
dangerous and wild as fire;
louder than words
it speaks,
deeper than voice
it sounds.

Silence has its own speech, i read a verse once in Urdu that says like this, whenever my silence makes a noise, i go and sit among the crowd! ! !
