When I Was Depressed Poem by Hailey Stump

When I Was Depressed

When I was depressed
You said you would kiss me if I didn't cheer up
You still continue to impress me
But I have no idea how to express my feelings
Sometimes I wish I could just confess to you
If you where to ask I guess it would be a yes
when I was depressed
You nonetheless were always there
Sometimes I wish I could press my head on your chest and just cry
Because you are the best person to be around
when I am depressed
