When I Think Poem by Edwina Reizer

When I think of times that shall come to pass
and my absolute absence of breathing,
I am at peace with all that shall come
and can still know I'm believing
in the goodness of the unknown
that is far beyond my eyes,
in the forever ness of a future
where the soul never dies,
in the purity of unending love
that will always rise above
every sadness that came my way
which will finally fade away.
It is with humility that I pray
that my Creator will reach out to me and say.
'Welcome, my daughter. It is time to rest.
You'll stay for a while, but then move on
and a new destiny for you will dawn.'

When I think of this it is perfectly clear
that I will find myself again back here.
