When I Dream
I know exactly who I'm supposed to be
Even if no one else believes in me
At least I can be myself with everything that is within me
Even if it's only the mirror staring back at me
I know who I am no matter how I've changed through the years
All the laughter and the pain I've shown in my tears
Know that I am who I am no matter what anyone thinks of me
All I've ever wanted was just to breathe
Am I just hidden in a landslide of memories
Am I just another body that people cannot see
But if you take the chance you can know the soul that's within me
I know exactly who I am and who I want to be
Especially when I know that no one is watching me
I know who I am when all I do is dream
