When I Die Poem by Kemi Kemms

When I Die

Rating: 5.0

I want to travel places I can't afford alive
Sit on the rings of Saturn and walk in the sky
I want to look down on Earth from the space
Go further anytime beyond the first base

I want to sing along Kurt, Jimmy and Janis
And be on each past and future concert of Alanis
Assist inventing skyscrapers, microchip and airplanes
I wanna walk barefoot on burning flames

I want to travel back and forth in time
Without oxygen dive into the ocean's chime
Ski up the hill, read thousand pages in a blink of an eye
Daily change the length of hair, never ever be shy

I want to show my middle finger up your face
And send every torturer to a special place
I wanna be smart, strong and almighty when I go
All this and more in 100 years or so …

Nice pen, beautiful flow, intriguing, sad&sweet, loved it! ... Your poem reminds to beg for own end... It might bring the absolute freedom, how could I know? ...made me wonder if some of us are meant to be born into life's slavery rather than living slavery..Which ever is for me, I feel death is something to fear only for others, especially for dear ones.. Great joy to read your poem, I would love to do the same (except the middle finger lol) , thank you for share,10!
