When I Am Long Gone Poem by Shannon Martin

When I Am Long Gone

Remember me as i was, and how i wanted to be,
No one chooses to go,
nor' is there a reason.
I lived a life of misery all just because
everyone has their time to shine
I guess i never got that chance
But memories will live on...

When I am long gone, remember what i have done
I have tried, i have failed
not much more i could of done,
too many nights of clenching my covers and
crying into my pillows
Those memories are now finally gone...

Now that i am long gone, no more worries
in this stress-free life
I have abandoned the world and all the
people in it, i am now and always was a
figment of your imagination!
