When I Am Gone
When I am gone
Six foot deep
Beyond touch and sight of eye
Sometimes think of me.
You were the best of me
Love, strength and purpose
Fearless against engulfing terrors
Bright light within darkness
Never questioning nor doubting
Steadfast rock within storm lashed seas.
