When I am alone

You know!
you are with me
when I am alone
I can't say where
as you are everywhere
when I am alone

thoughts generate from you
words create for you
space vanishes around you
with a torrent of speech
I talk only to you
when I am alone

the denial cries when
I entertain you
persuade you
try to convince you
that I deny you
when I am alone

all other worldly matters
take rest on your presence
mind play with you
on the playground of thoughts
its always one-sided game
with your victory just by an innocent smile
its a divine pleasure to see you win
and keep seeing the winner smile
when I am alone

Remember writing a poem by same name when young. That wasn't romantic though. Good work. (Report) Reply
