When Gossip Is Bred

Headache is Man
Because he can
Uses his tongue
His dirge unsung

Words come out
Full of shout
Scare love away
Silence their prey

Ears are deaf
Absent the ref
God is dead
Gossip is bred

Spare the cat
All the chat
All its needs
Feeds and peaks

Are cats friendly?
Or are they deadly
Today they are purring
Tomorrow claws stirring

“Shush! ” word of the day
Needle in the hay
Master at stay and play
Keeps misplay at bay

“Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But names can never hurt me'
My soul from malice born free!
