When Doves Cry Poem by Bebai Rosa

When Doves Cry

Mommie, I miss your loving smile
I wish you could visit and stay awhile
My love for you is eternal
It burns in my heart as an infinite inferno

I miss your warm embrace
No one could ever replace
Your maternal and nurturing spirit
Your soothing voice, how I long to hear it

A mother's love is an insatiable addiction
For you I yearn in times of affliction
You always knew just what to say
For half of your wisdom I pray today

Only GOD knows the depth of my sorrow
By his spirit alone, I can face tomorrow
The loss of you mommie, a void never filled
To my troubled spirit, I say ' Peace Be Still '
