'When All The Music Dies' Poem by Kelly Zion

'When All The Music Dies'

I started our song today
because the music has almost gone away
how many songs will I replay
before the music dies?

Every song, every tear
why can't anybody hear?
We just get tired of the rhymes,
how long before the music dies?

Baby, you are my only song
I listened to the last love song today
and then the music died away,
the music had to die.

Broken CDs on the road,
broken people nobody loves
we all die, nobody cares
these are our songs, these are our tears
the music is dying and nobody hears
our hearts are crying and nobody cares.

Baby, I'll patch yours with a beautiful band-aid,
Baby, I'll sing 'till I drown in the acid
Baby, because nothing else matters
If I die, I die, but the music lives after.

Baby, this is the music, this is our love
these are the songs that never will die.
'When all the music dies.'
