When - Poem by Eric Cockrell

When we make love...
Does God weep?
Does the earth stop turning,
For a holy instant?
Do words find meanings?
Does night name need?
Does the wind come a knocking,
On the door that doesn't exist?

Does time expire?
Do thoughts undress!
Does empty carve windows,
In the soul of heat?

Topic(s) of this poem: hunger, passion

Time unfortunately waits for no one, but if man keeps destroying the world
time will definitely expire. A great poem.
