When? Poem by Rick Elpers

When?

Rating: 5.0

Loneliness in a crowd
Is a solitary man
With enticements all around
Clamouring for my
Service but not my heart
Born as a worker to always
Be incompanionable against
my wishes to love and hold to be held
God never says your destiny
is to only serve not to reap
So I must hope
How long shall I wait?
