You try to tell me you're no good
that somone ruined you're heart and soul
I can say the same and know that neiter of us is quite whole
but don't ask me to belive your heart is just a lump of coal

From the moment I met you I felt something true
something gentle and special I felt so much from you
in every little gesture kind and the things you did say
Nothing you can say now will push me away

No matter what a fool I make of myself
on your side I'll stay
to send love your way
tomorrow as much as today

If you prefer me as a friend
instead of a lover....its OK
I won't steer away
when I know you've said before
You want me to stay

I'll put my love in kindnes to you
and in the little things I say
Maybe it will mean more that way
and help chase your demons away

I can't leave you this way
hurting inside
when its you my heart runs to
and has so opened wide

Ana, did I ever say
I need you by my side
You're the one that eases my pain
and gives me a heart to share and confide

I feel the goodness in your heart
that its so hard for you to realize
I feel it in your tenderness
and see it in your eyes

You must come to me
show me just a little care
just something to reassure me
you still want me there
