What Your Dreams Tell You
a smile from the person
that you meet along the
road confirms a welcome
of your arrival,
the entrance to the
door and the
sign of the hand to
make dinner ready
is their affirmation
that you are part of
this family, and you sleep
in one of their rooms
for the night,
you are safe and
cared for, but then
tomorrow you leave
again, your dreams
tell you that somewhere
else, far away, is
your home.
