with your hands
feel the warmth of the skin
that blushes when its cheeks that you must kiss
beats with the rushes of the blood and heat

what you love you must embrace
with your arms
strong and gentle and confident and
caring

what you love you must uphold to protect
and promise to be with you forever

what you love you must not forget
and keep the fragility within the secure chambers
of your heart and soul

but first, you must be real.
