he knows my wants
my needs, my fantasies
my fears, my dreams
what i desire
and what i despise
not the silly things my friends know
my friends know
i want an ipod, texting, and a big screen
they know i need food and candy
they know i fantasize about life
they know i fear
dentists, clowns, and rapists
i dream of singing
they know it
they know i desire a good life
and despise boys who hurt you
but god is different
he actually knows me
he knows i WANT a boyfriend
to cuddle with
to love
he knows i NEED time
to get over things
to heal a broken heart
he knows i FANTASIZE
about having kids
to call me mommy
and to have a job i love
he knows i FEAR
being rejected
and being left alone
in a world where
everyone seems happy but me
god knows i DREAM
of being on stage making a difference
easing peoples pains
with my voice
by singing songs everyone can relate to
he knows that i DESIRE
to be loved
and live my dream life
he knows i desire to forget the pain
all the pain i ever experienced
God knows i DESPISE
getting my heart re-broken
people fighting about stupid things
and lonely nights
