What Makes A Dad Poem by John Masaitis

What Makes A Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
And the majesty of a tree,
The warmth of the summer sun,
And the calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
And the comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
And the power of eagle's flight,
The joy of a day in spring,
and the faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
And the depth of a family need.

Then God combined these qualities
When there was nothing more to add
He knew His masterpiece was finished
And so He called him....DAD.

Did you write What Makes a Dad? 2 others here at PH.com, Brie Carter and Innocent Timburwa, have their name attached to the poem. What's up with this? They are all good. The only difference is a few word alterations, but they are all definitely the same poem. Who wrote it?
