love is naked
and like a river
it runs free
its fingers grip your
heart and soul
its a power
above and beyond
what any man can control
love is a fever
burning extremely hot
love is passion
strong
love is desire seeking
compensation
love is deep dark eyes
with x-ray vision
yet love is blind
objection of affection has
no imperfections showing
only what love is
capable of seeing
love determines what
love sees
