‘I regret' is a strong phrase,
One ever person holds their breath when they hear,
But why regret? You wanted it most at one time,
There's something about the word regret,
Something that makes the soul dig deeper,
To think, to wish, to ponder,
To ponder what though?
To ponder what could have happened
Had you done what you want deep down,
Not what people want you to want,
What is my regret?
For not having the courage to be myself,
Say, wear, think what I want to,
If I had, I'd have no regrets.
