What Is A Season? Poem by Barbara Crane

What Is A Season?

A twilight glow
A rivers flow
A bird’s call
A frosty fall

What is a season?
A morning snow
A Christmas bow
A sled given splinter
A snowy winter

What is a season?
A bit of dew

A mother’s cue
A newborn’s cling
A warm spring

What is a season?
A wave of heat
A band’s new beat
An overfull rummer
A burning summer
